About Me

dsc_0774

My name is Danielle and I am the creator of this blog.

I started this blog as a means to show all of my friends and family what my husband, Chad, and I are up to in the beautiful state of Hawaii! We are currently located in Oahu and are enjoying our time on the island.

I recently graduated from George Mason University with a BS in Tourism and Events Management and quickly realized I did not want to pursue my degree as a career after a summer internship full of weddings and events. After my internship ended I was job hunting for a while until I came across a temporary position that was a 9-5 (or 8-4:30 in my case) in an office atmosphere. After doing the whole 9-5 for a month I quickly realized that was also not for me. While feeling lost and trying to figure out what my career-purpose was in life, I came across a couple of blogs that inspired me to finally start my own. I had been talking about it for almost a year and seeing the success and lifestyle they are currently living now, I knew it was what my “career-purpose” was in life. I want to live a life where I can work wherever life takes us, travel whenever we please, and spend time with my family whenever we want, and blogging can give me just that! I am very excited to begin this journey and see where it takes me. Overtime my goal is to begin monetizing my blog and eventually make a full-time income from it to start living the lifestyle I am after!

A little more about me . . . My favorite color is pale pink, my weaknesses are french fries and soft serve ice cream, I can never turn down a Greek salad, I love spending time with my family, I enjoy hiking and traveling with my husband, I have a problem of binge watching Netflix, I talk a lot and I can’t sit still for long!

About my Husband . . .

This is my husband Chad – we met four years ago now by my sister and a friend. They set us up and we became an item shortly after. Six months after dating, Chad “officially” asked me to be his girlfriend and three years later he asked me to be his wife. We are coming up on one year of marriage and I cannot believe it! Time flies by when you’re having fun ;).

You can find Chad riding his motorcycle, watching motorcycle videos on Youtube, fixing his motorcycle, shooting guns, going mountain biking, hiking with his wife (that’s me!), or being dragged out of the house by something his wife wants to go do.

Well, that is a little bit about my husband and I. Take a look around while you’re here!

Cheers!
