Today’s post is going to be a bit short as I’m giving you an update on my 2017 New Year Resolution!

So I just finished my April read a few days ago (oops) and will be starting my May read soon!

For The Month Of April . . .

I read The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America’s Wealthy.

I'm a little behind on my New Years Resolution so I wanted to let you all know that I just finished my April read, which was the Millionaire Next Door, and will soon be starting my May read!

It’s basically this giant study on the spending habits, demographics and interviews with hundreds of millionaires in America! This book has really motivated me to change some of my spending habits and values of what’s important vs. what’s not.

I really enjoyed the book and found it to be so interesting to learn the spending habits of America’s millionaires!

If you are looking to get control of your finances and looking to be financially independent, I highly recommend this book!

For the Month of May . . .

Okay, so I am torn on what to read for the month of May, so maybe you all can help me out.

It’s between Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover or The Girl On The Train.

I’ve heard great things about both books and want to read both for different reasons but I just can’t decide which to go with this month!!

I want to read the Total Money Makeover because I’ve been into the financial books lately but at the same time it’s always nice to get lost in a book that’s more of a story.

Which to go with . . .

Also, if you have any book recommendations let me know! I love to read.
